1. 1.Unzip the downloaded file. You'll get a folder named cerebro-extension-main.
2. 2.Open chrome://extensions in a new tab. Address-bar copy only — browsers block links to chrome:// URLs from the web.
3. 3.Toggle Developer mode (top-right of chrome://extensions).
4. 4.Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
5. 5.Click the Cerebro icon in your toolbar → Subscribe to notifications. You'll see the new destination appear at /settings/destinations.

The extension reads your existing Cerebro session cookie (httpOnly is fine — it goes through chrome.cookies) and uses it as a Bearer token against this site's APIs. No separate sign-in. When you sign out of Cerebro, new subscribe attempts will fail until you sign in again — already-registered pushes keep delivering until the subscription itself rotates.
